Yea I believe that prime WB and Roger beat Kaido extreme diff. I'm just saying that from a storytelling percepective making Luffy stronger then Kaido would probably place him as equal to or stronger then Roger. I personally believe that you can argue that Luffy Gear 5th is Yonko level and that gear 4th places him at top 1st commander level.

Which means jackshit. Shanks probably has stronger crewmates and Kaido didn't want to take losses. The people who think Shanks is the strongest do so purely out of bias.
